Our hammocks are hand woven by Mayan villagers in the Yucatan region of Mexico, in the ancient Mayan tradition of quality craftsmanship, handed down from generation to generation for thousands of years.

Each Mayan Hammock is an individual expression of the artist weavers, therefore no two Mayan Hammocks will be exactly the same.

Colors available are multicolored as shown and natural cream.

Our hammocks are made with a greater volume of material than competing hammocks. More material means greater support and comfort.

Great for backpacking, sailing, travel, indoors as a bed or outdoors as a garden hammock.

The King Kong Mayan Hammock has 30% more string (than the "Family") woven into it for more comfort and durability. This hammock fits in the same size space as the other sizes but is more comfortable.

This Mayan Hammock comfortably seats 3 or 4 close friends, or if you get in from opposite sides seats two people not even touching!

The higher thread count of the Family Hammock makes it more comfortable than the Matrimonial--even if you're going solo.

X-Large "matrimonial"
(Some websites call this hammock the "Queen" or "Acapulco" size.)

This Mayan Hammock is designed for two snuggly people.

You can sit two people not touching (see XX-Large) but the strings will be tighter and not quite as comfortable.

The advantage of the Matrimonial Hammock is its portability. It weighs less than three pounds and compacts down to the size of half a loaf of bread. Great for backpacking and travel.
